Chubby roulade

Ingredients

  • package of turkey thigh roulade with parsley
  • 0.5 kg of new potatoes or pampukhs
  • small head of prairie cabbage
  • 0,5 kg of carrots
  • 0.5 kg of medium-sized mushrooms
  • canola oil
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 2 medium onions
  • 50 ml of red wine
  • 1 apple
  • half a lemon
  • salt and pepper

Preparation

  1. Prepare the roulade according to the recipe on the package in the oven.
  2. Slice mushrooms, and grate carrots into strips Fry on low heat in canola oil for about 15 minutes.
  3. Cut garlic into thin slices and add at the final stage of frying and be careful not to burn. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  4. The dish can be served with pampuchi (dumplings, steamed noodles) or new potatoes cooked in uniform.
  5. Red cabbage salad:
    Cut the cabbage into strips and add a mousse of freshly grated apple, juice squeezed from a lemon and a splash of red wine. Mix the whole thing in a bowl, add salt and pepper to taste and let it sit for 0.5h to let the flavors exchange.
  6. Roasting sauce:
    The sauce that remains in the package after removing the roulade is poured into a saucepan, add 1/4 cube of butter and, stirring constantly, combine the two ingredients. Alternatively, you can use ready-made powdered or bouillon sauce.
