Ingredients
- 4 pieces of turkey shanks with skin
- 8 potatoes
- 4 onions
- 2 apples
- 5 g of cloves
- 10 bay leaves
- salt and pepper
- Witbier beer
- Brown Ale beer
- lager
- 200 ml of multiflower honey
- thyme
- juniper berries
- cumin
- lemon peel
Preparation
- Combine all the ingredients of the marinade and pour it over the shanks, then leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
- After this time, drain the meat and put it in the oven - bake for about 60 minutes at 200 C. Turn the meat over from time to time and water it down with the remaining marinade.
- After 30 minutes, add halved potatoes and onions, as well as salt and pepper.
- After another 10 minutes, add apples cut in quarters and stripped of their seed nests, to which we attach bay leaves using cloves.
